I have set 1st Sep 2014 as my new phrase of my life.
Be more organise, discipline and diligent.
After 4 months of working on myself, I have make some progress. I set tasks for myself ie Using ePostItNote is useful for me as I list out the top tasks that I need to complete on the day or at least the next few days. It helps me to focus and organised. Hence, discipline sets in esp. where work is concern.
Area of Improvement: I am still unable to keep my table clean and tidy. I reflect on my actions. I like to put things on the table, Hence, my documents pile up. When they pile up, I just leave the messy pile of documents on the table. This leads to endless of messiness on my table. How can I work on this area? I need to find reasons or benefits to keep my table tidy, which I haven't find. One thing I notice is that I like to work in the kitchen, reason is the table is clean and clear. Hmmm, perhaps I can use this reason to be my purpose of keeping my things neat and tidy.
On 8th Feb 2015, I noticed a subtle change in myself. I am able to pack my drawers more organised by grouping them in categories. Throw away those unused items in the drawers. This is an improvement which I didn't see in the past.
Another reminder habit I practice is I start to put "To do list" on my desktop, these are the projects which I need to follow closely and also to write on the post-it-note on reinforce what I need to do. Ever since I implement these 2 habits, I am more mindful in what I am doing. I could feel the change within me. It is an amazing experience.
As I start to change within, my external environment changes as well. I become more aware of my environment and the needs of the people around me. I will embrace and unfold new phrase of my life.
