Since the day i had a toothache, i know that i had to extract my wisdom tooth and my decay tooth... All started when i have used up my MCs... my rigid HR policy says that without "hospitalisation leave", they will have to deduct my annual leaves, if no more leaves, they will make me go for unpaid leave and thus i will not get my full amount of gratuity!
Having no much choice, i had to make two seperate trips down to poly clinics and get a referral letter. As i realised that Singapore dental clinic doesnt provide "hospitalisation leave"! Finally get to the right hospital that provides "hospitalisation leave" - Alexandra Hospital.
It is not a fruitful trip. Went for the first trip, I have slight flu and phlem, the surgeon refused to op on me as they afraid might have complications. I had waited waited for another hr just because that silly nurse wrote my name wrongly.
2nd time, the weather is really bad, im still unable to clear my nose block and phlem..., had to change for another appointment.
Finally, I take really good care of myself, no cold drinks, no fried food, drink more water, sleep early. So went for the 3rd time, nose block and phlem has cleared. Happily thinking that im finally can go for my surgery... and guess what??? I had chest pain.. WTF! Even the nurses start to bully me, had postponed to 9th Oct...
Today recieved an sms from the hosp asking me to go back on 24th Sept(mon)... feeling quite delightful as they tried to bring forward the dates. But feeling abit odd as the surgeon only operates on tues. Call them up and they told me to remove the stitches! I havent even done my surgery yet!
This little wisdom tooth surgery has been making me like a paranoid woman going through hell of the problems like finding the right clinics, right hospital, right surgery docs but in the end having wrong dates, wrong health status and blur nurses..
Am I not fated to extract my wisdom tooth or what??? I really give up... eating my icecream today!
