Keep the fire going

Recently I have been pondering why even people change jobs nature practically after 10 years. I finally had the answer. It's not about the "boring" job that they have. It's about US! Because we simply let the fire with us dying... We no longer feel passion about our job. We start to dragged our feet to work because we do not like the job nature anymore which we used to have passion about.

The next solution is: Change the situation! It's so easy to say this statement. How many people around us are willing to sacrific our "high" pay job / benefits / comfort zone and start from the scratch. The problem with us is we are too afraid to move on. We are scared of these two words "What if".

When we are young, we like to learn new things, accept new environment, new challenges. As we grow old, we start to think more and thinking more in-depth. It could be good as well as bad. We have more worries and uncertainties. We are just simply afraid to move on.

I read a book, it says an average person will change at least 4-5 times in the whole entire life. But these days, i feel that it will be even more due to the economy and lack of loyalty in the companies.

I feel it's perfectly okay to change jobs but you must be sure where you are heading to.

Keep the fire burning.
