Passage of Time

Went to watch Passage of Time musical. Compared to the professional musical, you may think its below the "normal" standard. However, what makes it outstand on its own is, it is an inspiring and heartfelt musical.

This musical is about a woman looking back into her life... once a young girl who had to give up her dreams and later became a wife to a man choosen by her parents. Her life unfolds a tale of triumphs and turbulence. It is based on true story on love, betrayal and forgiveness...

There were 30 casts but they are non professional actors except Nick Shen and Neo swee Lin. There were no fanciful stage props, just plain lighting and scripts and one man band but what makes it unique is that it has lots of humane elements. At the end, they reconigised each and every individual hardwork from producer til a 3 min cast. What does it says?

A good performance may not have beautiful costume, stunning lightnings or even amazing orchestra, but most importantly is the purpose and the message they want to bring across. All of us were impressed by the "one man band" guy. He is the music arranger as well as keyboardist. We were wondering how did he do all in live show:p

Yes, we all felt their sincerity.

What i love about this whole musical is, "Nothing lasts forever, the joy and the pain. It is in a cycle and this is life."
